To root, Your tablet must like new and fresh, How to do it?
Please do the following steps below:
(*remember again, your tab will be formatted automatically
because it's flashing like first you bought or new)
Move file Stock RV05RC05 to tablet, can be placed in internal
or eksternal.
Turn Off your tab. then after turn off, press Volume + and
Power together for few minutes, there will be a choice:
fastboot mode, sd image update, you choose sd image
update.
Choose wipe data & cache (ALL DATA WILL BE GONE!
PREPARE THE BACKUP).
Then, choose file .zip. if you save it in internal choose internal
emmc, if you save it in eksternal choose sdcard.
After it, wait it will be taken maybe 2-3 minutes.
Now, After your tab like new. It's time to root Acer Iconia B1-
A71
Please follow steps bellow:
Copy Partition Fix to your tab (install that .apk, open, start
FixG1PMT, uninstall)
Connect your tablet to PC/Laptop.
Extract Toolkit file which has you downloaded.
Save" system.img.gz" inside toolkit folder that name
"system.img.gz place here"
Open .bat file or .exe file (for Windows), if use linux open .sh
Follow the instructions on the toolkit screen.
Troubleshooting:
If stuck when unlock screen but the screen is not locked ->
lock again to the lockscreen, then open again, and press enter.
